Devotions #76
I’m sure this week has been different for us all for various reasons. However let us remember what Paul wrote to the church in Rome “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
Romans 12:12. How much we need this right now, that our joy remains hopeful, we endure the hardships and our prayers remain especially for those who need them the most.
Devotions #78
God has blessed us with another day. I encourage you to remember that “in him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). May the Holy Spirit empower each of us. Amen!
Devotions #79
God’s word is guidance, perspective, peace, it clears the mind and prepares each of us for whatever the day brings. Trust and belief in God empowers us so we are able to say “The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in him and he helps me, my heart leaps for joy and with my song I praise Him (Psalms 28:7).
Wherever you are and however you may feel. God is with you.
Devotions #77
Encouraging us all to remember that we are carriers of hope because the hope we have is in Christ Jesus. So I pray today: Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
Devotions #68
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus or as the NIV says in your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.
Jesus gave himself up as an expression of love and was willing to humble himself to express that love.
Encouraging you to remember how well you are loved and appreciated.
Devotions #65
Praying for wisdom and endurance from God for us all. 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NLT)
So my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable, always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
Devotions #64
So I pray that the eyes of your heart will be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people Ephesians 1:18
Remember wherever you are and however you may feel God is with you.
Devotion 1
In an ideal world, work would be a breeze, bosses would be angels, and we’d love every moment of it. But reality can be a bit different. Sometimes, efforts go unnoticed, leaders aren’t always right, and motivation takes a dip. Remember Colossians 3:23-24: Work as if for the Lord, not people.Let’s embrace this mindset and tackle each task with our whole hearts!
Devotion 2
Our lives should reflect Christ’s example, and the blueprint is in God’s Word. So, let’s commit to not just hearing it, but remembering it and living it. Read James 1:22-25 today and decide to apply it in your life.
