About

Our Vision

“To be a Church that transforms communities with the love of Christ by welcoming all people, being hospitable and setting ourselves apart to serve.”

Our Mission

“Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, to love one another and to transform our communities through the power of the Holy Spirit. Cultivating loving relationships, diversity and empowering people to reach their full potential.”

Our Values

We strive to demonstrate love in all that we do, our love is anchored in God’s character and purpose for humanity

Gifts

We recognise that God has given us all gifts that we use to serve Him in our communities

Welcoming

We desire to be a place of welcome where people experience our hospitality and generosity in various ways

Relationships

We value the importance of relationships which God calls us to intentionally cultivate

Distinct

We celebrate being holy, meaning that we are set apart, and called to be such throughout all generations

Diversity

We seek to be a church that is diverse that represents the Kingdom of God here on earth as it is in Heaven

Focus

Putting discipleship at the centre; engaging with and reaching out to local communities.

Love

To ensure that love is at the centre of all that we do.

Transformation

That we allow God to transform to bring about transformation in our communities.

Community

To create a sense and place of belonging for everyone.

We are a church that is striving to be on the move. Moving from Maintenance to Mission. Matthew 28:19-20 NLT:

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Community – We are called to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16). Our objective is to be that in our communities through the transforming love and power of God. We aim to serve those whom we live and work with. Our churches are located in the diverse cities across the country, many of whom are in need practically and spiritually. Paul reminds us in Titus 3:4 that:

“Our people must learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others; then they will not be unproductive”.

Our Priorities

Over the next 5 years our priorities will shift to align with our new vision and mission through:

  • Church Planting – New & Different Churches for Different People
  • Community Engagement – Refocusing our sights back into our communities by being salt and light in our witness through our acts of service.

Statement of Faith

Wesleyans believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Saviour of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life.

We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s Spirit. We believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and be made new in Christ. We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
