Encouraging us all that one of the powerful ways we can demonstrate the Love of God is to stand up against oppression and injustice and as we do so put on the armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18) remembering that the weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead they have divine power to demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Wherever you are and however you may feel, remember God is with you.

1 Samuel 7:12

Time is a gift from God. Ephesians 5:15-16 (ESV). Look carefully at how you walk, not as unwise but wise, making the best use of the time because the days are evil.
So What is the best use of your time?
Encouraging us all to be intentional about Loving God and Loving people

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you.
Loving God and Loving people means taking courageous action when directed by God.
What is God asking you to be courageous about?

I encourage you to find calm in our chaotic world reflecting on the word from God that says Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

Encouraging each of us today to remember that each day we rise in the strength of God who helps us, holds us and is with us each moment (Isaiah 41:10). Continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5) listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go (Proverbs 3:6). Our God is a present help (Psalms 46:1).

Reflecting on the different events that lead up to our salvation and how God has worked in our lives and continues to transform us. You have a unique and powerful testimony, I encourage you to share it. It may help others on their journey to Christ. Psalms 105:1 Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.

The Bible teaches us that loving well is the goal of the Christian life. 1 John 3: 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Reflecting on and thanking God for another day.
This last Sunday of 2020, I Encourage You from Philippians 3:13-14 NLT – No dear brothers and sisters I have not achieved it (perfection) but I focus on this one thing. Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God through Christ Jesus is calling us.
